Sharing His Beauty - To The Ends of the EarthSunday, October 09, 2011
On this first Monday together I want to write about the blessings I have discovered through blogging. My initial thought, as I started my blog a year and a half ago, was to use it as a way to give back to the Lord for what He has done in my life. It was, and is, my prayer that as I tell my story and share what God has taught me over the years, readers who might stumble upon my blog would be encouraged and hopefully be drawn into a deeper relationship with our Savior.
But, besides the joy of simply sharing my love of God with others, an interesting thing has happened. The world has become smaller. At this point in my life, I don’t have the ability to travel to the ends of the earth to tell of His greatness, but, through the incredible technology that is available to us today, my words can still go. I have discovered that those of you who visit The Beauty in His Grip are not just my physical neighbors. Many of you live in different states, countries and even on different continents around the world! That, to me, is an incredible blessing and shows just how amazing our God is. His word tells us to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation” (Mark 16:15). And now, through His divine intervention, He has created a way for us to do just that. I am thanking Him today for planting the idea in inventors’ minds which began the great adventure of connecting the world through the internet.
I have also found such joy in meeting and getting to know so many of you though your comments and e-mails. You are each a true encouragement to me and are inspiring me as I share what is on my heart for the Lord. Thank you for stopping by to read my offerings to Him...and thank you to God for creating a way to bring us all together! My prayer is that you will feel God’s hand of comfort and peace upon you as you continue your walk with Him.
With thanksgiving and praise,
"Sharing His Beauty" tab under the header of my blog. I hope to see you each Monday as we encourage each other and bring honor to our Lord as we tell of His greatness!
